About Food Tour in Tokyo
I’m Aiko Tanaka, a Tokyo-born food guide. I’ve led eating tours in Shinjuku and Tsukiji since 2015. I grew up over my family’s kissaten in Nakano, watching how people eat and talk about food. This site is my independent guide to Tokyo food tours.
What I do
I research the Tokyo food tours available through GetYourGuide, read through the traveller reviews, and write up honest, practical guidance on which tour suits which visitor. I’m not a tour operator and I don’t sell tickets — when you’re ready to book, I send you to GetYourGuide, a licensed reseller, to complete your booking.
